Goodbye arthrosis – less joint pain, more mobility!

Osteoarthritis you are not hopelessly at the mercy of others! That is why we are looking for participants for a free arthritis project. The team at the health centre wants to show those affected in just four weeks what they can do to reduce joint pain and improve their quality of life, even with arthritis, into old age.

Often, just the right light training is enough, and many of those affected are not even aware that they are not helpless when it comes to joint wear and tear, but that they have the opportunity to actively counteract it through exercise. That is why we have decided to make this opportunity available to a wide range of those affected and to offer the project free of charge.

And the number of people affected is large. In Germany, more than 5 million people suffer from osteoarthritis, making it the most common joint disease. It is a progressive form of joint wear and tear in which the shock-absorbing cartilage layer between two joint surfaces breaks down over the years. The result is severe joint pain and increasingly limited mobility for the mostly elderly osteoarthritis patients. The impact on quality of life can be immense.

But Movement gives arthritis legs. That's why we have developed a holistic program based on the latest sports science findings. With our project, we want to show that you can relieve pain, fight inflammation and increase muscle strength and coordination in just four weeks. Through special strength and flexibility training, stiff joints can be made more flexible and incorrect loads can be balanced out.

A healthy diet also plays a crucial role in relieving osteoarthritis symptoms and improving quality of life. A balanced and nutrient-rich diet can reduce inflammation, strengthen the immune system and promote overall health.

Participation in this project is absolutely free.

  • What do I need to consider when taking the InBody measurement?

People with pacemakers must not perform the measurement! Perform the measurement on an empty stomach, as food intake affects blood circulation and thus the measured values. Normal blood circulation usually returns after about 3 hours.Go to the toilet before measuring, as food and liquid intake before measuring can affect your weight and therefore the measured values.Wear light clothing when taking an InBody measurement, as heavy clothing can increase total body weight and affect the results.Take the measurement before exercising, as blood circulation and body temperature increase during exercise, which affects the impedance values and can lead to inaccurate measurement results.Take the measurement before showering, as showering or bathing temporarily increases body temperature and the body dilates the skin vessels, which can also lead to inaccurate measurement results. No sauna the day beforeNo major training sessions the day beforeDo not take measurements during the menstrual phase, as the hormone progesterone builds up and stores body water during this time, which can affect body composition values.
